Dear Emma,

Thank you for this site. A friend referenced me to it and I have spent some time going over it. I must say it has benefited me quite a great deal. While my social circles are quite casual due to my region simply tending towards that, I find that etiquette is applicable even in less formal situations. Things like the art of conversation don't suddenly disappear in usefulness when the event you're attending can't be neatly classed as a drinking party or dinner party. Naturally, on the cases formality does arise, and people always do like to dress up even if it happens rarely, having a trusted reference which goes into detail is always helpful.

In any case, it's been quite helpful, and keeping in mind the underlying principles of the art has stopped me from acting like a clumsy oaf on more than one occasion. Once again, I most sincerely thank you.
